Hallertauer Mittelfrüh is one of the classic continental aroma varieties, together with Spalt, Tettnanger and Saaz. A few decades ago, this was the dominant variety in the Hallertau district. Unfortunately, it turned out that it was susceptible to disease, which led to an almost vanishing growing acreage. However, now it is possible to obtain Hallertauer Mittelfrüh. Take the opportunity to brew a lager with a classic aroma hop!
