Northern Brewer (US)
Northern Brewer was first bred in England, as a cross between Goldings and Brewer's Gold. Nowadays it is primarily grown in the Hallertau district in Germany but is also grown in the US. This is one of the world's most popular hop varieties. Very suitable for dark ales and lagers, notably for bittering and flavour. This batch is grown in the US.
Normal alpha acid: 7 - 10 %.
